UNP to move no confidence motion against UPFA In CPC

The UNP-led opposition in the Central Provincial Council  (CPC) is planning to bring in a motion of no confidence against the UPFA administration. Leader of the Opposition of the CPC Ranjith Aluwihare told a media conference that the Central Provincial Council Administered by the UPFA had failed to live up to the expectations of the public and that arrangements were being made to bring in a no-confidence motion against it. Ranjith Aluwihare said that the no-faith motion would be passed with the support of the members of the ruling UPFA because a considerable number of UPFA were against the incumbent Chief Minister of the Provincial Council. Former opposition leader K. K. Piyadasa (UNP) said standards had dropped in sectors such as education and health. ...
