Well known faces of Tamil film industry such as Rajnikanth, Kamal Hassan, Vijay, Ajith and Surya were not a part of the grand IIFA celebration.
Salman received a letter from the Tamil Film community citing their rejection, which he did not accept.
He was not only part of the recent IIFA celebration in Colombo, smitten by the beauty Srilanka he asked the team at the helm of his forth coming film ‘Ready’ to change the location from Mauritius to Sri Lanka.
This decision of changing the location from Mauritius to Sri Lanka has earned the wrath of South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce (SIFCC), and they are planning to launch a non co-operation motion against the film.
L Suresh, the General Secretary of SIFCC said “we will only take action against someone who wants to shoot upcoming films in Sri Lanka. We don’t want inconvenience for producers, distributors and producers.”
Salman Khan’s Dabang is about to release in September 2010, wait and watch the reaction of SIFCC.
